If you drop a frame to an object it will get its properties.

If you drop a frame to any existing object it will be resized to fully accommodate the object.
If the object has a Link to Movie or Menu, the frame will also get the link from the object.
If you don't want the frame to pick-up the link, hold SHIFT while dragging.
